As much as I love sunsets (see my post on sunsets here), I hold a separate love and appreciation for sunrises.
There’s something about breaking the stillness of the night.
Through the years I’ve had the privilege of watching breathtaking sunrises. Here are some of my favorites.
On a plane from Manila to Dumaguete, Philippines
Getting on a plane at 5am is a struggle, but seeing this as I looked out the window made up for the hassle. I would most definitely do it again if it means I get to see this again.
Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia
I had to get up at 4am to see this. Worth it? I leave that to you to answer.

Tioman Island, Malaysia
One of the best things about having a beach front villa is being able to catch the sun rise (and set.)
